What is a heart murmur?

A heart murmur is a wishing or a whistling sound produced as a result of turbulent blood flow and they are heard through a stethoscope. There are two kinds of heart murmurs and they include innocent (harmless) and abnormal. For more information, check at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart_murmur.
