Where does the FDIC reserve fund come from?

Report as

The FDIC first got their operating money from the stocks that they bought from the congress. They then paid back this money after being stable. Their work is to ensure that the banks do not engage in unsafe practices, so they end up not using a lot of money to repay bankers.

All member banks contribute to the fund, it's a percentage of the monies they have in use.
