Probate for my fathers estate is over but I just got another check made out to his estate. How do I get this check cashed? It's in Indiana.

I'm the estate representative. Can I just cash the check? I've all-ready paid the lawyer and inheritance tax. The estate checking account is still open.

Get in touch with the bank your father was in and ask if you could cash it but they will need proof that you are the right person to cash the check. You can go with your father's lawyer for confirmation and ask him how to go about the whole process.
