Sputnik....and NO, I didn't look it up on the Internet, I watched it on the CBS evening news on a black and white console TV when I was 10 years old:D

Well I haven't done this kind of heavy math in a long time but I'll try.
Sputnik in 1957 I was 10 yrs. old.
1957- 10 =1947
2012 - 1947 = 65 bingo!
