Ads keep on popping up on my computer screen every time I come on this website. Is there any way to stop them?

All of these silly ads keep coming up on my computer screen every single time I come on this website. Is there any way to stop them?

Since the ads are on this particular website, then there is nothing much you can do. They have been put there by the owners of the website as a way of earning money through advertising. If however the pop-ups appear on your browser, you could go to the browser settings and stop them.

I would suggest getting a good Ad-Block extension for your browser, AdBlockPlus is good for both FireFox and Chrome.

I was under the impression that the two or so ads that are on the right side of the screen are what pays for our free use on Ask. I could be wrong.........
