Lemon juice is really good to lighten hair..Tea, though, is funny, it can lighten hair..You can also lighten your hair with sunshine..if you spend enough time outside, your hair coloring will be as light as you could possibly wish..n yeah swimming helps too to lighten hair colour!! Hope I helped :))
Olive oil or chamomile tea. The olive oil is a great moisturizer too. Brush oil through hair and go out in the sun. If you use the chamomile tea you heat it up and let it cool. Brush in your hair and go out in the sun. This is best for brunettes. You may have to do it a few times. The only real way to lighten to blonde is using hair color. It's hard to get a nice shade when you lighten from home. Colorists at a salon can get a much better color. If you are young, make sure to ask your parents. I was allowed to lighten my hair when I was 14 BUT I was a blonde as a kid and my hair got darker as I got older. I did lighten it from color I got at the drug store. I did it a little at a time. Just remember that you have dark hair so roots will be a problem. You have to touch up your roots every month or so depending how fast your hair grows. It is a commitment and bleaching it to make it lighter damages and dries your hair out. It's just something to think about. I ended up having a bleached look after doing it a few times and my mom let me go to a salon. The gave me a much more natural golden blonde for a 16 year old. By 17, It was an expensive commitment to keep up with so I went back to my natural color. Food for thought.
