@Blasted - the really sad part is that we did actually remove quite a bit of those, but they just kept asking them.

It's really because I signed up to fund raise for the Susan Komen Foundation. If you press the star I think it may tell you how to sign up as well on the Ask home page. A dime is donated every time I answer a question and it goes toward breast cancer cure research and awareness.

I see an answer from you on that question, were there supposed to be comments on that page as well? Or is that answer not showing up for you?
Also in checking your history, I don't see that anything has been deleted recently, so admit I'm sort of stumped as to why they aren't showing up on your end. I'm not familiar with the app though, so it may be some sort of glitch on that end. I'll forward your question to some of the other mods, who might know more about that end of things, hopefully we can figure it out for you.

You may lose your questions if they are deemed to illegal and if the question has been asked too many times.When illegal,such as a jail breaking question, the question will not be answered so as to avoid this vice from happening and if the question is commonly asked, all you need to do is to look up the question and you will find the answer.

Alas, did not know "AmericaEmpire". Sounds like I missed out. One of the many xword puzzles I submitted to the LA times had the word "egests" crossing "tuberculosis" - a fine feat of construction, alas it was a a fatal flag. (But not as bad as "islam" crossing "jesus" - I didn't even bother to submit that one .... :-D

And flag it as they may, I am convinced that Yeshua ben Joseph, the Christ, would truly rejoice in the pure essence of the great tradition of Islam...

A few days ago I sent Ask some detailed information about where some of the problems are occurring. They got back to me today and said they've been unable to duplicate the problem but are passing my information to their technical people, who will get in touch.
However, I also told them about American Empire and named another four people (from the list of about 25 people I follow) who have not posted in the past 9 or 10 days. Every one of them was a strong contributor to the Q&A and all will be badly missed. There must be quite a lot of other strong posters who have also disappeared.
From my point of view it's not nearly as bad as it was a week ago and when the questions start recycling and I can't break out of the bind, I just log off. It means I'm not spending as much time here in the past, and not answering nearly as many questions, but I'd go troppo if I kept trying to beat it.

I don't seem to be having more trouble than usual but then I'm not here all the time. I sure miss a lot but I sort of have another life and my flower garden needs weeding. You know, real life tends to be a distraction. Oh well, gotta go, my cat's having kittens.

Here's a similar problem.
Last week (or the one before) I not only lost a lot of questions, I saw my various counts reduced. My list of questions answered dropped by around 20, and my red and green thumb counts went down.
AmericanEmpire emailed me yesterday that he had closed his account rather than put up with all the stuff-ups. I hope we don't lose too many more people,.

It has been somewhat frustrating for a while especially with such a short supply of comments. You almost had enough to to help narrow down the problem then they were gone. Maybe ASK could reconsider the comment restriction under certain conditions.
