What are some good ways to please my parents?

I want to show them that I can be respectful, but sometimes they make me so frustrated and angry that I forget I'm actually trying to be respectful and talk back. What are some good ways to please them and not argue?

be respectful, remember they have more life experience than you do, and when they say 'no' to something you want don't throw a fit. Calmly ask why they made the decision. Help around the house, without being asked.

Do helpful things before being asked. Don't expect payment for working around the house. Tell your parents that you appreciate something they do for you. If you have siblings, treat them kindly and with love.
