To fall asleep quicker, you should avoid distractions, read a peaceful book, avoid coffee and avoid drinking too much alcohol before sleep. The best and simple way on how to fall asleep quicker is to try to fall asleep.

Don't do any physical activity 2 hours previously, wake up earlier, read a book for a half hour, or try some "Bedtime" tea.

Cuddling a soft stuffed animal, reading a book, and going over your day in your head usually helps. I personally like to drink celestial seasonings caffeine free teas. Tension tamer is my favorite. Word is your not supposed to look at any electronics an hour prior to going to bed. This means tv, video games, etc.

Eat lightly, let your body relax. You also can fall a sleep faster in cold temperature

When you lie down in bed to go to sleep don't think about things. Don't think about what you need to do tomorrow, or what your friend said earlier, or anything. Thoughts racing around in your head can keep you up for hours. If there's something important weighing on your mind just tell yourself there'll be a better time tomorrow to deal with it.
