Walk around the strip. The fashion show mall has runway modeling that's pretty cool. I highly recommend the bodies exhibit at the Luxor. There is a lion habitat at the MGM. You can go to Nellis Dunes (apex) and ride dune buggies there's a company out here you can call I believe it's called SunBuggyRentals or something. There's a indoor raceway where you can ride racer carts. You can go fishing to lake mead, you can ride trails on horses, there's a place called Gameworks that is an underground arcade, you can go ice skating, there's legal car races and car shows at las Vegas motor Speedway and plenty more things. Who said Vegas was boring? ;)
Some casinos have bowling and movie theaters. Swimming is great because its so hot. Circus circus and the stratosphere have theme parks. New york new york has roller coasters & the mirage has tigers and dolphins to see
I just moved from there along with my family which includes a 15 yr old grandson. Nothing. Vegas is not kid or family friendly. Circus Circus has an amusement park but it's not that much fun. Sorry wish I had better news for you. Are you on vacation or moving there? Even some of the shows you have to be 18 and are expensive.
Tons of stuff... Museums and zoos, if they are into that, tours and stuff out in the desert. There's a cool place on the strip. It's the coca cola store, m&m store and a place called gameville I think. It's like s dave&busters , it's all there together in one location right across from new York new York . Also there's tons of family friendly shows and kids are always welcome at the Fremont street experience downtown
Its vegas baby! Im 16 and i went there 2 months ago! And i did everything you can imagine except go in the casinos! Go to the mall, find some girls. Bring them to your hotel room. Stay up all night. Party. Go crazy Drive around. Rent a limo. My dad got me and my friends a stripper. Dude, if you wanna go to las vegas all you gotta do is bring money and go with a family that wont care what you Do! (:
AS A PERSON WHO LIVES IN VEGAS there are actually lots of things outside the Strip. I suggest Red Rock(the mountains outside town) or Lake Mead or even paintball. I'm only offering suggestions for non-casino and Non-downtown stuff. Considering the city is actually a place with suburbs and schools and other parts of town, there are things here teens could do that don't necessarily have to be downtown. Just a reminder that there are other things if you don't want to go to the Strip or downtown.
