Does anyone else get discomfort after urination?

I noticed this morning I had a little bit of discomfort after urinating... the urination itself did not hurt at all. The pain really isn't that bad, in fact, it's barely noticeable, but if I had to compare it to something it would be like the feeling you get after urinating with a UTI, but twenty times less worse. I have had sex recently but I urinated immediately afterwards to prevent infection for a UTI. However, I was just wondering if anyone else tends to get some discomfort after urinating like this, and what might cause it? Thanks.

Maybe you could have a mild infection.
Drinking cranberry juice can help prevent urinary track infections. If you continue to have pain or it gets worst you should see a DR. But I know people who complain about that every so often. And they said that they drank
Cranberry juice to try to clear it up and it worked. Aloha

There are various people who have had this problem. There is a possibility that the UTI was not completely treated. You need to see a doctor so that you can get treatment for this condition.

I never had a UTI to begin with, though. That's why I was wondering.

Urinating right after intercourse is NO guarantee of preventing a urinary tract infection OR a sexually transmitted disease. YOU need to see a doctor-none of us in here are licensed to practice medicine. And perhaps using a condom might be your best bet-unprotected sex is ALWAYS a risk......

Usually for me it is... I have been doing it since I was sexually active and have only ever gotten a UTI once because of sex, and that was because I forgot to urinate afterwards. All other times I have, it has worked for me. Condoms wouldn't help not get a UTI either, as bacteria could still get on the condom and transmit to the urinary tract.
