Ok, so I'm pregnant with twins and my husband is threatening to leave because I won't get an abortion. What should I do?

he says he does not want two more kids in our house. we only have one other child and we are faring good financially. what could be his motives for thinking this way?

You leave him. The fact that you have not yet aborted shows how strong you are. Don't let him take that away from you.

Don't! It's YOUR body and YOUR the one that controls what you do with it! He doesn't sound like a good husband if he is trying to get you to do that!

Keep the twins. Even if he leaves you, you'll have two others to take his place. Do not kill an innocent baby or babies. They mean no harm. Even if they do kick.

It's your body! Don't let him control you. He can't force you to get an abortion. Obviously not a great husband if he will leave you over something like an abortion.

Well first you need to tell you did not get twins all by yourself these are his little babies growing inside you.But if you want to leave them please go now.Because only way these babies are leaving me is from giving birth to healthy babies.Best wishes and God Bless:)

The fact that your asking, kinda says your considering it. Please don't. There are other options. A lot of people can't have children and would love to adopt twins. I agree with what everyone else is saying, if he would leave for this then (if you abort) he could find Another reason to leave. I won't talk badly of him. Follow your heart and do what is best for you and your babies. You have an opportunity to make a wonderful life for those babies, whether it's you or someone else raising them. I'll say a prayer for you and your husband

To be pregnant with a baby is a blessing but to carry twins.... Girl you are double blessed :) children are the best thing that can happen to a person. You should have them twins and just pray that the father will change for the best for your kids :) good luck hun!

Happy for you even though it may not have been planned. Did your husband just discover what causes babies? He is bound by marriage and chances are if you abort you will resent him and your marriage will fail and if you don't abort he will resent it and your marriage may fail anyway. However he may also just have big responsibility issues right now and will grow into this idea. Hang in there! it will be hard no matter what, but you don't want to regret aborting it will haunt you. And you will never forget it because you will live with it every day of your life just like you will live with these two children the rest of your life. Which life would you rather live with? I know you will choose for you not him.

I am not one to preach abort, don't abort or any religious beliefs. I will however say, you need to take a good long and hard look at your marriage. Is it a good, strong marriage? Is it holding on by a thread? What would make the love of your life react so selfishly and shallow about the children conceived from your love for one another? Does he not consider you his love? Examine all avenues and make a positive decision for all of you. Including your first child. Best wishes.
