There is only one Almighty God and his name is Jehovah. And there are many god's are idols that people venerate. False gods... One of the reasons that Jesus was put to dead was because he claimed to be God's son.
Jesus is not the first religious character to have been born from a virgin mother, perform the unexplainable, preach, sacrifice himself for the good of others and rise from the dead three days later. Just the most recent.
The Bible claims to be the authority on the Creator God. It claims that there is a God family, Father, Holy Spirit, and Son. God the Son claimed equality with His Father and was part of the excuse used to kill Him. According to the story He resurrected Himself therefore making good on the claim that He truly was a member of the Godhead. So I guess the answer to your question is yes
On one breath you say God is immortal and on the other you believe he died and rose from the dead. Which one is it because you can't have someome who is both mortal and immortal at the same time. To answer your question, there is only one true God and He is immortal!
Yes, He was. Because, and I know many will disagree, there is only One God! Bhudda, Krishna, and all those others are nothing more than men or man-made gods. No different than Baal, Zeus or Diana. Only God is truly God! So yes, He was the only God to ever resurrect from the dead :)
Nope many religions have gods that died and returned, some have gods that die annually and even daily and come back to life. It's actually a pretty common thing. Also Jesus is part of the Trinity- three who are One. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. According to most doctrine Jesus is God made flesh. It can also be argued that all Christians are gods. After all, Man was made in God's image and all men are the son's and daughter's of God , Acts 17:29 and John 1:12 (Rom. 8:14; 3 Ne. 9:17; D&C 11:30) Therefore we are all our own Gods and entitled to worship God through ourselves.
