Safari seems frozen on my iPod. How do I fix?

Report as

To fix it, you will have to wait until it has loaded, then press and hold the home button until Safari quits iPod; it should then return to the home screen. Should this not work you can try doing an iPhone reset which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the power on or off button simultaneously, until you see the Apple logo and then release while ignoring the slide to turn off prompt when doing this.

TOMus, your answer was right...held the home button and off switch at same time, iPhone restarted within a minute, and Safari was again workable. Thank you. Pattycakes55.

Safari works better if you are closer to home, If you are not then don't keep pressing buttons till you get to safari otherwise it will take longer, just let it load. If that doesn't work than you should probably go to the nearest Apple Store or Radio Shack

If you have multitasking then double click the homescreen, hold down one of the apps until they start to wiggle and then close safari by clicking the minus button. If you dont have multitasking, then turn your ipod off and then back on.
