I hate my voice, the way I talk. Is there anything I can do to change it? ( read more please!)

when I'm hyper people don't really understand me. and I'm 13 (girl) and I the have to repeat my self is there anything I can do to change it? please help

Yes, there is something you can do to change the way you sound when you speak so that you are understandable and don't have to repeat yourself.

Since you are still in school talk to the counselor, tell him/her what you want and they will set up speech therapy for you.
It is the best thing you can do.

My sons friend he met in sixth grade, had such bad speech that he always had to repeat what he said. The school gave him speech therapy for the last half of the school year. By the middle of the next year his speech had improved so much that he didn't need the therapy any more. Now when he talks he sounds like speech teacher.

Try it and don't feel bad about it because there is nothing wrong with you except "YOU" want to improve your speech.

I know it works and I know you can do it!

There is a simple solution to this. Slow down your speech and remain calm when you feel hyper. Your voice will deepen some as you get older.
