Go for it! It can't hurt anything. Youtubes free, all you need is a computer, Internet, and a video camera/webcam/smart phone with a front facing camera. If you want to, then I think you should go for it. Btw, having your face on the Internet isn't really that big of a deal, trust me. My parents made a big deal about it when I was your age too, but as long as you don't put your address or school online, you're safe. If you're really worried though, consider using a fake name. Something realistic and kinda cool, like a stage name. I personally wouldn't enjoy doing a vlog, but I mean, if you think that would be fun, that's your opinion. I guess it's just a girl thing. Btw don't expect instant views. Just try sharing it with your friends and get them to share it with their friends. Also, the more pop-culture themed your vlog, the more views. And another thing, try to tag as much stuff as you can in the video, that way it'll be more likely to pop up in peoples search results. Good luck, hope you get plenty of views and subscribers! Personally, I don't think that you should start a vlog until you are sure that you can keep with it and have permission from your parents. If you are truly into filming, you can convince your parents that you are making educational material which is helping you get experience on your dream career. You said you were interested in vloging but didnt really want to show your face on youtube... Maybe you should get a group if friends to act out a sketch while you film then edit? That way you film, dont show your face, and you will probablly get a lot of views:)
