How can i make my computer faster? please help.

when i first got my computer it was super fast. now it takes 10 minutes to look up something. someone told me to sweep it out, and someone else told me to look up some computer thing link. and blah blah blah lol. please help/

To make it easier, download Kingsoft PC Doctor (it's free) - install it and it has a "One Button Optimizer". You can find it on CNet or ZDNet.

You can make your computer to run faster by removing all programs that you don't really use. You can also defrag your hard drive, defrag your registry and clean your registry.

@Julius, how do you clean your registry? Actually first, where is my registry, then how do I clean it? I have Windows Vista Service Pack 2.

If you have Windows 7 try going to Control Panel in the start menu, then System and Security and try to run 'maintenence tasks' and also run 'performance issues' and see if that helps. Then go to 'Computer' right click on 'C drive' and select 'properties' then 'Tools' then choose defragment.
