Every "christian" religion pictures this man Jesus as looking like them-you go to a black church, the pix are black-go to a white church & the pix are white. Seeing as how all of this supposedly took place in the middle east, I'd say he was arabic, but then again, none of us was there or knew this man personally, so who is to say what he looked like? Then again, I don't much care what fictional characters look like.
Who cares. He was at best a historical figure who was essentially an early Marxist. Only because of the magic tricks (sorry, miracles) has he been painted as the messiah by people needing to 'look for' god.
The bible does not focus attention on Jesus appearance. Rather, Jehovah saw fit to reveal something far more significant: the kind of person Jesus was. It is man that focus on outward appearances. It is more important that a person become acquainted with the thoughts, feelings, and personality of Jesus. This is simply said in a nutshell.

this question is something that any true christian should know from reading the bible. jesus was a jew, from the lineage of David, he was more that likely dark skinned. get yourself a king james bible, and educate yourself, jesus was not prejudiced, neither should you be, he loves every one the same. I am a white man, and have no problem with what color jesus was. john 3:16. I would not believe any thing that comes out of the vatican, the whole system is antichrist anyway.
