how do I take off timeline off Facebook?

I wanted it for the background picture, but now I hate it

There isn't a way of taking off timeline on Facebook, as once you got it, you had seven days to decide whether you wanted to keep it or not. It's time you start learning how to use the new timeline format because it has many features that make your privacy very simple to alter individually.
