What is a good gift for a 12 year old girl who is having her braces removed

Don't give her food! That goes against all the time she went WEARING them. Try a cute lip gloss, or something to accent her new, metal free mouth.

That explains a LOT. Man, there should be an age limit on this page. How can someone not even in high school be able to answer anything other than "OMG what did you think of Hunger Games and Twilight OMG OMG". :)

When I got my braces off at 12, my parents decided to get a new "family portrait" When I saw the pics back with my smile, I felt like a brand new girl. Here's a suggestion, if this girl was really obedient with the food rule with braces, and stayed away from all things sticky and chewy, maybe some twizzlers or something?

Get her something she wasn't able to eat when she had her braces on, like gum for example. But other than gum get her something good something she really likes but was not able to eat because of braces.

CANDY!! Especially chewy kinds such as tootsie rolls and starburst. I went crazy for those after I got my braces removed.
