Atheists say that faith is weak-minded, but they never defend their non-belief, they just chant the same old mantra about God being a fairy tale, and faith being for uneducated, weak-minded idiots.
Faith in God brings a peace to our lives that can't be found anywhere else on earth. The love of God carries us when we are broken and tired, and it helps us to stand tall and straight to fight for what we believe in. Without faith in God, life makes no sense.
Having faith does not make someone either strong or weak minded. The depth to which a person can go for his or her beliefs is what distinguishes between the two states of mind. Character traits may also play a role.
I think that as long as it's not "blind" faith, then having faith can be a sign of a strong mind. It's just when you go along with something just because everyone else does, or because someone else said you should, but you haven't actually formed your own thoughts and opinions on it, that it can be a bad thing.
Not sure. I need more context. What do you mean by "mind." Pharaoh, for example, was very strong-willed. The word heart can also mean mind, especially in the context of a hard heart/strong will. Pharaoh had lots of faith, just not in YHWH.
Believing in Jesus Christ as the son of God will only make you stronger than ever imaginable. All worries, stress, unworthy thoughts, will vanish. Jesus Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. Before trusting anyone you have to trust yourself. After you have learned to trust yourself you can trust Jesus in being your savior. The only reason why you have to put effort into trusting him is because he created us all with free will. He did not want us to act and think as if we were action planned robots. Once you follow his path he will openly receive you with PURE LOVE just like his father has created you with PURE LOVE.
