On Facebook chat what does it mean if there's a tiny iPod beside the name of someone?

always on my chat beside someone name there is like a picture of what looks like an iPod. does that mean the person is on their iPod while on Facebook?

i think it means that you can send them a message that will appear right away on their phone like receiving a text message.. they may not necessarily be online but they can reply to facebook chat the same way they are replying to a text message.
