How should I pursuade my mom to let me get snake bites (lip piercings)?

usually if i want something from my mom like money or to convince her to let me do something i do something for her that she likes or something that needs done. i usually clean my house or clean her car. it might not work for everyone but it works for me. also if you are nice to her and have a good attitude towards her it usualy helps.

Ask for something completely ridiculous, like 1000 bucks, then move on to the lip piercings after that lol!

I think that your mom is right not to let you get lip peircings. They might repell people who want to talk to you or ask you a question. But it is all a matter of personal choice.

If you would let your daughter ( may be in the future ) do that - ur mum is unreasonable. Persuading isnt better than just getting it done without her permission

Ask for a tattoo first. Be adamant about it. When she says no, "settle" for lip piercings. Use the "they're not necessarily permanent" arguement. I've given this advice before and it's worked every time...

They don't necessarily "ruin" your body, at least the piercings do not, their not permanent! And it's just phase, yunno?

I encourage people to make their own decisions. The best way I have seen people learn life lessons is to make their own choices, good or bad. Besides, I have seen some beautiful artwork on some people.
