Well from what I've heard, don't read or do anything because it'll keep your mind awake if you get what I'm saying, another is listen to burning woods, it helps you get to sleep. heard on news :)

Watching TV or playing the computer, TV is probably better as it allows the mind and body to relax.

poppy seeds will make u sleepy.put 1 tsp of it in one glass hot milk and mix it well.hav it bfore u sleep.

Cactus extract. It's natural, non-habit forming, and won't leave you feeling groggy. It's sold in pill form. You can get them at most pharmacies.

Take a hot bath or shower and or smoke a cigar or cigarette or pot if you live in california

Glass of warm milk half an hour before bed. Warm milk works whether you are 8 hrs. or 80 yrs. old.
