I sprained my foot, is ice or heat better to use on it.
for the first 24-48 hours its best to use ice, this will decrease any swelling, after that you can use heat. hope your foot feels bettter!!

Ice for 20 minutes, rest for 20 minutes, heat for 20 minutes, rest for 20 minutes just keep alternating
Switch off on the both.
RICE = rest, ice, compression, elevation
Of course ice, ice helps anything that is sprained, it helps the swelling go down.

Ice for 15 rest for 45 minutes. That always helped me
Get a glass bottle like a coke, beer,etc put it on the ground and roll your foot on it it will massage the foot and make it feel a little better.:)
I recommend putting your foot on a pillow with a cold towel and take tylenol.
