What temp does it have to be when you get frostbite?

Report as

At or below 0 degrees Celsius or 32 degrees Fahrenheit, blood vessels close to your skin start to get narrow so the core of your body can stay warm, however if this continues for too long, it can reduce blood flow to some areas. That combined with the cold temperature cause frostbite. So it is not really a certain temperature that causes frostbite but rather how long the body is exposed to cold temps.

The temperature has to be at or below 32 degrees for one to get frostbite which is a medical condition where localized damage is usually caused to the skin and other issues due to extreme cold.
