What do 7th grade girls like in guys?

my friend is a 7th grader and he likes this girl but doesn't know how to act

They like a smart, funny, cute guy who is willing to be himself around her. Girls (like me) like it when a boy wants to hang out a lot and spend time with them. I'm in 7th grade too.

You need to be nice to her, gentle, talk to her, and have a good sense of humor. Make sure the jokes aren't dirty and know ahead of time what she doesn't think is funny. Be mature and a gentleman but you don't have to be super mature. Don't talk about other girls around her if you are trying to get her to like you. It could/will turn her off and possibly make her mad at you. And when the time comes to ask her out, do it in person and be confident. Then it will be harder for her to say no and your chances of her saying yes will skyrocket. (I am in the seventh grade and trust me this works)
