What is the conflict and resolution in The View from Saturday?

Report as

The conflict in the book comes about from the children, who want two things at the same time. They want acceptance for what makes them different from everyone else, but they also want the same for what makes them the same. The conflict between these two needs reaches a climax at the age of 12. See newberryproject.blogspot.com/2009/03/view-from-saturday-1997.html for more on the same.
