Do getting your braces off hurt?

still a long time away but just curious

Getting your braces off does not hurt. First they will take your wire out ( like when you are getting your braces tightened ) and then they will pop your brackets off. The only thing that is uncomfortable, is when they scrape the glue off your teeth.. it might hurt a bit but its not that bad. After getting your braces off, your teeth will feel really weird but that will go away in a coupe days. They will look fine though.

Some people experience pain when they are getting their braces off. However, if such experience is felt, one should seek medical advice immediately. Braces may cause more damage on your gums thus causing you more harm.
