I can't sleep my liver hurts. What can I do to relieve my discomfort?

I've been on antibiotics, NyQuil, and dayquil last week for pneumonia. Now I have an inhaler and some sort of steroids to help my lungs breathe because I haven't got better.I'm still currently taking the inhaler and steroid type medicine . So now that I've taken all this My stomach hurts when i lie down or sit. When i lie down I have to throw up in the middle of the night. Is there anything i can do to relieve the pain until i see a doctor?

There should be a Dr. from your Dr's office that is on call (there may be a charge) so you can ask him/her. Or you can contact a 24 hour pharmacy and ask what pain reliever would be ok for you to take. Be sure and let them know all the meds you are taking. Try to sleep sitting in an upright position since you only throw up when laying down.

Because you're on all that other stuff, I don't recommend you take anything else in addition. Try laying on a hot pack, sleeping on your side, rather than back, and taking a cool shower
Get better soon!

Try a teaspoon of baking soda with about 1/3 glass of water, swallow all of it. it's the best for an upset stomach and all natural

A teaspoon of baking soda contains about 900 mg of sodium, which is a lot of sodium and could be harmful to people with high blood pressure. Baking soda will also tear up your stomach lining over time. You may get immediate relief from sour stomach or heartburn, but it will cause long term damage if you use it chronically. Just because something is "natural" does NOT mean it's safe.
