3 beers... Depending on the proof of the rum.
Beer is between 4% and 6% depending on the kind... Also remember how many technical shots are in each beer. Which in america the average shot is between 1 oz and 1.25 oz so 12 to 9.5 shots of beer in each. so at 4% alcohol a 12 oz beer will have as much alcohol as a 40% (80 proof) rum.
I think that one shot of rum will be equal to about 8 or ten beers assuming that the alcohol content of rum is 40% and for beer is 4%. You divide the 40 by 4 to get ten beers for one shot then multiply that by 3.
