Which kitchen knife do you prefer for work and home use? The chef knife 8",10",12" or the santoku 7-8" and why?

It is versatile but I can't rock it like my chef... I switch off at work constantly, but if I HAD to choose the chef will always be my best friend!

Cutco knives are without a doubt the best kitchen knives.

Hah! I have two pairing a filet and a mini chef, all cutco... They are badass and very durable... But nothing beats my suisin!
