I've done bad things. Now I've changed. How do I keep other kids from talking bad about me & assuming I'm still doing my previous behavior

I will be a senior in high school this fall and am now a different person. How can I keep other students from spreading old rumors about me. I want them to see the person I am now.

Make reparations for the bad things you did. If you were mean, apologize. If you broke something, replace it. The good things you do will speak volumes about the person you've become.

Prove you have changed. This isn't a problem, it is motive. You can prove them wrong by proving you are no longer who you use to be. As my buddy up there said, apologize to people you have wronged and replace or at least help replace, or fix, things you have destroyed. But if you really want to prove them wrong, I mean really REALLY want to prove them wrong, then help with something big. Do something that will make make a change and help people, and do your best to give as much help with it as you can. But here's the thing, if you want it to be most effective, you have to do it for a program or organization that is against what you have done in the past. Heck, you could even through in a testimony. Hope this helps!

Np, everyone makes mistakes. The only deciding factor is who makes reparations for them.

At this point all you can do is walk the walk. Actions speak volumes. Kids won't forget that soon, but if you don't give them anything new to talk about then they will move on to there next victim soon enough. That's the great thing about high school. Someone is always screwing up somehow to take the heat off of you.

You're wrong. I believe I can change because I already have and have made some wonderful friends in the process.

Umm... Ok... Then why did you even ask this question if you already knew the answer?

tell them i have changed and if they dont believe u or listen to u then show them that u have changed. but remember u cant always change a person's thought of u after u do something. so some people might not change their thoughts about u but that doesnt mean other people wont. Hope this helps!
