How "best before dates": What is this conspiracy?
I got examples like best before 10 11 12, and 12 11 10, 11 mar 12 and 12 mar 11 (and don't give that YYMMDD or MMDDYY stuff). Sometimes it's not even there, and sometimes it's too faint, and sometimes it's even worse: "Packed on G 000 04 ** X".
Salad dressing - I just ignore it. Other stuff if it doesn't stink or look green, I eat it. If they're going to supply a best before date, shouldn't we all be able to read it?
