The best way to get over someone is time and patience. You could use the willpower that you have had to drink alcohol, and really turn it into something positive. Activities are the best thing you could engage in. Some kind of hobby that you really enjoy, that you can get carried away with, that has no negative outcomes.
It's ok to long for someone who you have loved. The moment when you feel anxiety towards the situation is the moment when you need to stop, take a good assessment, and ask yourself, am I going to let this get in the way of my life? What can I do to occupy my mind?
If you find that you are being negative about it, remember that you are in control of your actions. Ultimately you are your own best councilor. You have to try to stay positive. Negativity breeds negativity, and positivity breeds positivity. Your choice starts today on how you will let it affect you for the rest of your life. :)

You know I have thought about seeing a someone for this but just haven't yet. I have turned some of it to the positive though. A girl came over not long ago and swore up and down that I have a lady come clean for me. Hospitals envy my state of clean. Lol.

You should see a professional counselor for help if it has been this long. A good counselor will help you get over her. When I take too long to get over someone, I keep trying to get them back. The constant rejection knocks some sense into me.
