How do I get rid of a small infection in my finger?
I have a small infection in my finger. It is on the finger next to my pinky. The infection is right where the nail meets the skin on the side. There is a small greenish-brown spot where the main part of the infection is, and as the swelling goes out, the skin becomes a lighter, pale pink. How do I get rid of this? I've heard of heating a needle and sticking it where the main infection is, and pushing the pus out, but I wasn't sure if it was actually a safe thing to do. And I wanted to know if there were any alternatives.
