Are there any topics that are not allowable on ask.com? Is there an adult section for questions? (I'm using the iPhone app).

Hi DevF and welcome to Ask!

"Adult" is kind of a vague term, so not sure what you would be asking. Your best bet is to review our Community Guidelines before asking -- http://www.ask.com/about/community/guidelines

Thanks!

DevF. I'm also not sure what you mean by adult. Ask users can be as young as 13 or as old as dirt. Because of this, Ask monitors and restricts content so that people of all ages can enjoy this site and not be offended. It is more policed than most other question sites, for which I am thankful, so you may also want to explore Yahoo or ChaCha. I guess the answer would be if you don't mind your kid brother or your grandma seeing it, post it.

I asked because most sites have a filter (answerbag, Quora, yahoo etc.) I'm simply trying not to be a nuance of my self by asking sexual questions or legal questions involving criminology I.e. 'is it legal to . . .'
Report as
I actually using a variety of q&a's to get as many answers as possible.

DevF - medical or legal questions are likely okay as long as they are not graphic. If they do end up being against the guidelines, they will be removed and you can rephrase things.
