Can ballet dancers have stretched ears? Will it deter people from giving you jobs?

I really want to get gauges in my ears but I'm scared it will be bad for my career as a dancer.

Of course a ballet dancer can have stretched ears. I don't think it will deter anyone from giving you a job if you have the talent and are pleasant to work with. Ballet dancers aren't perfect, it's their talent that's makes them even though looks help.
