Can you use a Playstation 2 power cord for Playstation 3

All the AV connections are the same on the PS consoles so you can use a Playstation 2 power cord for Playstation 3. However, you will be required to change the input of the cables.

No you cannot, they have different inputs, plus the volts might not be good. The playstation 3 uses way more volts.
