Why do I throw up after I eat beans?
Some people throw up after eating beans because their stomach is irritated or overfilled. However, others throw up because their stomachs don't pass food easily and food flows backwards into the esophagus.
You may have a legume allergy. You may also be allergic to peanuts (a type of legume). My son gets an extreme reaction to peanuts and feels nauseated when he once ate beans....hasn't eaten them since.
