Cn you get a tattoo on your lips?

i want a tatto and ive been wondering if i could get one on my lips but i dont even know if its possible. like, i know you can get one inside your mouth but can you get one ON your lips?

Yes. Some people get permanent lip liner or lipstick color tattoos. Sounds like it will hurt, though.

They tattoo animals for identification purposes on the inside of the lip... why not humans? Yes, I've seen it done, although the images are less than ideal due to the texture of the inner lip and the lumpiness of that region,for lack of a better term.
