I was raised primarily By women my mom aunts and grandma is there something hardwired in my head to be violent towards other males

like when I see someone being disrespectful to women or I hear a friend has mistreated his girlfriend I will confront them and feel like I want to assault them, don't get me wrong I haven't punched anyone over that in years but anger quickly builds when i see stuff on Facebook or the news and I feel it will always be there

I would advice you to change that perception, first since it seems you have a lot of pain in you that makes you behave that way. You need to embrace other men and probably use your experience to advise them on how to treat their women.

don't get me wrong I have plenty of male friends and i am very social, I use the violent loosely, let's just say when i was younger I would fight someone and now I will hive a stern talking to the person in question but ready for battle. I love people but hate abusive behavior

I think you are naturally protective of women bc it's sounds like you were raised by a great group of ladies. And I wish there were more men like you out there; not violent, but able to speak up when a lady is being mistreated.

I think that jixf is right. Any decent man is protective of women whether he knows them or not and wants to right wrongs. I can't have children, and nothing makes me crazier than hearing of or witnessing child abuse. There is nothing wrong with anger as long as it doesn't lead to violence. It is a valid emotion. It sounds like you have it all under control. There is nothing wrong with holding others accountable for their actions.

Its just that protectiveness you developed growing up around women, and somewhere in you mind you might imagine someone disrespecting your mother, grandmother etc. so you quickly take offence of someone disrespecting a women
