Is Apple's logo in some way a reference or based on, the forbidden fruit from the bible?

The symbol of lust and knowledge, bitten into, all crossed with the colors of the rainbow in the wrong order: lust, knowledge, hope, and anarchy.

No, the bite out of the Apple logo indicated the acquisition of knowledge to Steve Jobs.

Yes, Mary, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but Steve Jobs never stated a religious reference in his choosing of the logo.
