Is it good to delete cookies off the computer?

I need to do this

It's actually a good thing to delete cookies of the computer. The main common reason for deleting cookies is to free up memory and protect privacy; so it is good to always delete them after each session.

Depends on what sites you visit. You should clear them if they get too accumulated or if your computer slows down.

Cookies were previously just small text files that provided web sites with information about you. Their benefit to you is that they make it possible for you to re-visit sites without needing to log in every time,

I clear my cookies every few months, but it's no big deal for most of us.

Lately we've seen the rise of something called a flash cookie which is much more useful and much more insidious. The problem is that you can't delete them in the normal way.
