What is so special about the hunger games?

this is not supposed to be an insult i just heard that the books are good and i was wondering why

It's a great book because it shows war, poverty, and rebellion against their government - fighting for what's good. It's not particularly a "love triangle", I always thought that was odd how people would say that. Katniss was more focused on staying alive and taking care of her sister then anything else. I think the trilogy is quite good and its worth a read. :)

Personally, I think the Hunger Game is an interesting book because it revolves around the love triangle between katniss, peeta and gale. It becomes interesting once you start to follow the story line.

its really intense with some romance thrown in. my kinda book:) susane collins is a very skilled writer. she did a great job with the books. i bet you will enjoy it if u read it:) hope i helped. happy reading:D
