do you raise your kids like you were raised

Most of the time we parent the way we were parented. In some cases we make a conscious decision to be a different type of parent than our parents. Depends greatly on history and self awareness. It is human nature to repeat the past.

You most likely raise your kids like you were raised. However, most people raise their kids better than they were raised as they try and avoid the wrongs that their parents did when raising them.
