How many stars are in a galaxy

Depends on size of the galaxy,usually a couple million to up to billions.

To many to count. David wrote in Psalm 8:3; " I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained." When we see the vast number of stars, then read that scientists have discovered thousands upon thousands of galaxies, each containing millions of stars, we should be stand in reverent fear of a God so immense to make all that and call it the work of His fingers.

Well. Our galaxy contains millions of stars and we know of other galaxies that we are able to see plus all the things we can't yet look at. Im not sure there is a number that big

Average number if stars in galaxies is 100 billion.

Scientist estimate anywhere from 200 billion to 400 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy, so average it out to 300 billion.

But then some of those "stars" you look up at are actually galaxies and there are millions of galaxies, each with millions to billions of stars.
