Should I breakup with my boyfriend?

So I have been dating this guy for a little over a month now. However, I have a person from my past and his friend telling me that my boyfriend is not only using me for sex, but also cheating on me and talking badly about me to his friends.
The people who are releasing this information to me have shown me text messages from my boyfriends friend. However, the information is very vague. The details about this whole ordeal I do not know because they are trying to "protect" me. I have talked to my boyfriend about it and he seemed flabbergasted at the fact that I believed he was cheating on me. the rest of the information I mentioned to him he said was true. However, it was said before we were dating. Who should I believe?

If you really know and trust your boyfriend, then there should be no reason for you to doubt him. However, if he behaves in a manner that is suspicious, then you should look more into the situation and find out if the claims are true. You could ask the opinion of other people apart from this person from the past. He could be still in love with you and only looking for a way to break you up with your boyfriend.

There's obviously a trust issue... Move on.

The problem is that I would be happy of these people were not telling me this information. I wouldn't be suspicious if this information wasn't fed to me

Ignorance is bliss isn't it?

True. But the problem is the source isn't getting their information directly from my boyfriend.

The source I have will not tell me who this information is coming from? Do you find that fishy?

Using you + cheating on you= break up. Now do it right now.
