soulmates possibly? what do you think?

me and my bf have the same things happen to us all the time. weve been going out for about a year and a half so far. for example, a cfew months before we really new eachother and started dating, we both got suspended for the same thing, same day, and for the same amount of time just different places. earlier this school year we both out of nowhere got sick with life threatening illnesses except they were completely different and we were sick in the hospital at the same time, same amount of time except he had mono i had tss and different hospitals. theres a lot of other more personal things thats happened during our lifetimes before and after we met and right now were both really sick except different symptoms.. why is this do you think?

Sounds like simple coincidence to me. There is no reason to try to read things into coincidences. Try to focus on the present and stay in reality. You don't want to stay in a relationship because you think it's "written in the stars" or something.

I understand. There's a lot of talk about "soulmates" these days, but nothing to back it up, especially with the divorce rate being what it is today (55%). There are plenty of folks who were convinced they were marrying their soulmate, only to discover three years later that he was an abusive, alcoholic, batterer.

It really pays to know your boyfriend for a minimum of three years before you even think of marriage. Then, the engagement should be at least another year because some men don't become abusive until they are convinced that they really "have' a girl.

The only soulmate I've ever had was a dog named Willy...
