Yes, you are wrong . I am a Muslim. I pray five prayers in a day then I feel comfortable . I read Quran and when I apply what is in it. I succeed in my life. If you do not believe in God , you will feel lost. Believe me
We have been taught this is possible. But salvation is only achieved through His Grace, confession of sin, and belief in Him. All done through Jesus Christ. How does this work we can look at a storm. One may be a good person and even help people in the storm. Now, He is offering that person His house for protection. All He will do is offer, not force one to take His shelter If one stays in the storm they will suffer the repercussions of that storm. In this analogy His house is salvation. My point it free will is free will. You can choose to do good and you can choose to do bad. What ever you choose, salvation is not bought by good deeds, no more than good deeds can protect you from the storm. All He is asking for is a relationship with you. God bless
I think if you took some time and did some study you will find that there is more to God than that. You can be the nicest person in the world but if you don't have salvation and grace and a love for Jesus then you won't get to experience the afterlife. If you think everything is good and your life is full now..... That's nothing compared to living it for Jesus first. The blessings are unexplainable.
Who can be saved? If left up to man alone, no one! Why is being a good person not enough to get you into heaven? Because no one is a "good" person; there is only one who is good, and that is God himself. The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). The Bible also says that the wages of our sin is death (Romans 6:23a). We learn that while we were in our sinful state, Christ died for the unrighteous (Romans 5:8).gotquestions.org
